Trevor MacLaughlin brings a wealth of experience in both center-of-plate food distribution and private equity to his role as Chief Financial Officer at Whetstone Distribution.
Trevor previously served as CFO at Raydia Food Group, where he established an investment platform through the acquisition of two regional food distribution competitors, achieving a doubling of EBITDA within 18 months post-LOI. He also developed a ground-up analytics function that fostered a culture of data-driven decision-making. Prior to this, he was an Operating Director at Beckway Group, where he managed post-acquisition strategies and drove strategic initiatives. At Platinum Equity, he led the financial and operational setup of a divisional carve-out with revenues of $800 million. Earlier roles include leadership positions at Pregis, Mauser Packaging Solutions, and Textron Inc.
Trevor holds a BA in Finance and Accounting from Carthage College in Kenosha, WI.
As Chief Financial Officer at Whetstone Distribution, Trevor drives financial transformations, strategic growth initiatives and leads the Finance and Accounting functions, while partnering closely with the CEO to drive acquisitions and integration as the company scales.
